Office: Technology Building Room 243 Dr. Marquesen studied at the University of Kansas where she earned a Master of Arts degree in Child Development, and a Doctor of Philosophy in Developmental and Child Psychology. Her post-doctoral work at Ohio State University was in Special Education. Dr. Marquesen currently serves at Associate Dean of the College of Education, Engineering and Professional Studies. In addition, Dr. Marquesen serves as Program Coordinator for the Teacher Education Program and the Liberal Studies major. She is also the Project Director for several grant initiatives including the Southern Colorado Teacher Educational Alliance, Transition to Teaching Project, Professional Development Initiative, Teacher Recruitment Initiative and a Title V Cooperative grant. |

Dr. Piazza’s dissertation was titled: An Inquiry Into the Mathematics Culture of a Primary Constructivist Classroom: An Ethnographic Description.
