2. Complete Eligibility Advisement through SCTiRP
Academic eligibility for endorsement
3. Complete CDE Fingerprint Card and Pass Background Check through CBI

4. Pass State Approved Content Exam (if needed)

5. Apply to CDE for an Alternative Licensure Statement of Eligibility (SOE)
State approval for alternative eligibility
for each area of teaching (endorsement) in which a candidate wishes to seek employment.
